Preston teaches voice, guitar, piano, and bass, bringing a well-rounded and engaging approach to every lesson. His journey with music began at just four years old, singing gospel alongside his grandfather in churches and nursing homes across Houston. From the very beginning, music has been something he shares, and that perspective continues to shape how he teaches today.

He spent over a decade developing as a vocalist within one of Houston’s leading youth choral programs, while also building a strong foundation in guitar across styles like gospel, R&B, neo-soul, blues, and reggae. Preston later trained at Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and earned his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music  .

Preston has taught students of all ages in private lessons, ensembles, and band settings. His teaching emphasizes patience, creativity, and helping each student grow with confidence while enjoying the process.
