Nicolas teaches piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, saxophone, voice, and drums, working with students of all ages and experience levels. His lessons are personalized to each student’s goals and interests, helping them build confidence while developing strong musical fundamentals across a variety of styles.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nicolas has been immersed in music from an early age, beginning with saxophone and drums before expanding to piano during his college years. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with a concentration in Jazz Studies from the University of New Mexico. Over the past decade, he has recorded and performed with multiple groups, with several projects earning award nominations and wins.

Now based in Houston, Nicolas brings both professional performance experience and a strong teaching background, including working with students of all ages and abilities. He believes that music is a powerful way to connect and express, and he is passionate about guiding each student through a fun, engaging, and well-rounded musical journey.
