Laura teaches voice, piano, guitar, and early childhood music. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music alongside a business degree at the University of St. Thomas, where she serves as a Liturgical Music Intern with Campus Ministry, selecting repertoire and rehearsing choirs for campus services. Laura has been leading music since 2021 and performs with the Archdiocesan Choir of Galveston-Houston and the University Singers, while continuing her own weekly classical voice study with Dr. Brady Knapp. Her teaching experience is rooted in working with young students. She spent four years as a Sacred Music Intern at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church introducing children to the fundamentals of music theory, and she led daily music sessions with K-5 students at the Nehemiah Center, building their rhythm and musicianship from the ground up. Laura genuinely loves working with children, and her goal in every lesson is to give students a strong foundation while keeping the joy of making music at the center of it.
