Juan is a passionate and dedicated music instructor who brings both energy and experience to every lesson. His musical journey began in his high school marching band, where he served as a percussion sectional leader. During that time, his percussion section earned top honors, including a trophy for best percussion section—an achievement that reflects both his skill and his ability to lead and inspire others.

 

Juan has been playing percussion since 2016 and continues to actively develop his musicianship across drum set, keyboard, and piano. His teaching approach focuses on strong fundamentals such as music theory and sight-reading, while also encouraging creativity, adaptability, and confidence—helping students grow both musically and personally.

 

Currently, Juan is pursuing his associate’s degree in music at Lone Star College in Kingwood, where he continues to refine his skills and expand his knowledge. His well-rounded background and collaborative mindset make him a supportive and motivating teacher for students of all ages and skill levels.
