Hi! I'm Jared, an instrumental performance major studying at LoneStar College-Kingwood; my main instrument is the tuba, but I also teach trumpet, trombone, piano, and ukulele lessons. I have always had a deep love for and connection to music, which stemmed from my father's interest in rock and my mother's colorful Guatemalan heritage. I started my path into music as a beginner flute in middle school but soon learned that it wasn't for me, so I switched to an instrument that better suited me as a player and have not stopped practicing since then. I aim to share my passion and knowledge of music with my students and hopefully help them spark that same passion in themselves.
