Jacob teaches trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, trumpet, French horn, piano, guitar, and drums, and works with students of all ages. He is an Instrumental Performance and Composition major at Lone Star College Kingwood, where his primary instruments are bass trombone, tenor trombone, and euphonium. Jacob started on euphonium in middle school and was hooked immediately, moved to tenor trombone for marching band in high school, and took up bass trombone in college. He performs regularly with the KW Symphonic Band, KW Jazz Band, and KW POPS Orchestra, and plays with Symphony Inspira. For Jacob, music has always been a way to express what he feels and to connect with the people who came before him, and he brings that same enthusiasm to helping students find their own connection to it.
