She graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance, where she earned a merit scholarship and was recognized on the Dean’s List. Emily has studied violin for over 16 years and brings both depth of training and real-world performance experience into her teaching.

During high school, she was actively involved in regional orchestras and was selected as an All-State (TMEA) musician.

In addition to violin, Emily teaches beginner piano and early childhood music lessons, making her a versatile instructor for students at different stages of their musical journey. She has performed in a wide range of solo and ensemble settings and continues to grow as both a performer and educator.

Emily is passionate about creating a warm, positive environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. Her goal is not only to help students develop strong musical skills, but also to foster a lifelong love of music.
