Ava D. is a Music Education major at Lone Star College with a lifelong passion for both performing and teaching. As a bassist with the Lone Star College String Ensemble, she has performed in multiple concerts over the past three semesters, collaborating with fellow musicians to bring diverse repertoire to the stage. With nine years of bass performance, six years of piano study, and three years of focused music theory and ear training, Ava brings a strong foundation of skill, musicianship, and creativity to her teaching. She loves teaching music lessons to children and adults alike, helping her students build fundamental skills, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of making music. At Kingwood Arts Academy of Music, Ava teaches violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, and early childhood music lessons. Her warm and encouraging approach helps students of all ages develop strong musical technique while fostering creativity and a lifelong love for music.
