Ana L.

Ana brings warmth, versatility, and a deep love of music education to Kingwood Arts Academy of Music. Originally from Ecuador, Ana began her musical journey studying flute at the Cuenca Conservatory before moving to Houston, where she continued her training at Lone Star College. She is currently in her final year at the University of Houston, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Ana has performed with the Kingwood Pops, the University of Houston Cougar Marching Band, and currently plays with the UH Symphonic Band. Her experience as both a flutist and pianist allows her to connect with students across multiple instruments and age groups—from early childhood music to woodwinds and piano instruction. Ana is passionate about helping students build emotional intelligence, confidence, and curiosity through music. She especially enjoys sharing insights from music history to enrich her students’ understanding and performance. With her joyful spirit and thoughtful approach, Ana creates a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow, explore, and express themselves through music.
